‘Society evolves through culture and communication’.

Artist and designer, born in Valencia and in the early 70’s he moved to Barcelona to study graphic design. There he contacts with other cartoonists and illustrators of the moment, with which founds ‘Roll masked’, specialized underground comics collective. Considered one of the innovators of the Spanish comic, his most prominent work is the series ‘The Garriris’ (1976). In the 80’s made his early work as a graphic and interior designer, which soon will provide national and international recognition. In 1999 he received the National Design Award, and among his best known works include the Duplex stool (1980), Cobi mascot for the Olympic Games in Barcelona (1992), the integral design of the Gran Hotel Domine Bilbao (2002) or animated film ‘Chico and Rita’ (2011), made with Fernando Trueba and Goya award-winning and Oscar-nominated.
