Industrial engineer from the University of the Basque Country after graduation began working in the family workshop and electronics to later create a small company dedicated to electrical engineering. He is also a technical advisor for INSTAGI, Business Association of Installation and Maintenance of Gipuzkoa. For many years amateur athletics was another pillar of his life, reaching international achievements in Category Master +35 years: winner and second in the Berlin Marathon, winning the half marathon in Paris, European champion +45 years marathon and two second places in world marathon +40 and +45 years as most notable triumphs.
